There is just over two weeks to go before the fun starts. Many boats have entered already so join in, get your entry in without further delay. Entry is very simple via www.burnhamweek.com.
All classes catered for including dinghies (bank holiday dinghy regatta and the Wednesday evening John Torrance Trophy), IRC, Class5 (cruisers with spinnaker), Class 6 (cruisers without spinnaker), sports boats, one designs ……….
I am sure that most members are already aware that the pontoon suffered serious damage early yesterday morning in the high winds.
We would like to assure all members that we are taking all necessary steps to expedite appropriate repairs and modifications.
We will keep you updated.
I would like to say thanks to members and friends who helped out yesterday in making things secure, particularly to the guys from Rice and Coles, Mark Flynn for getting his rib muddy and Adrian Archer (who must have done the equivalent of 2 Maldon mud races).
